Suitable for testing nickel/cadmium, lithium-ion and nickel/hybrid batteries. Measures internal resistance (0 to 40Ω) and open circuit voltage (0 to 40V). Manual and datalogging modes with internal memory for 999 readings.
The Chauvin Arnoux CA6630 battery capacity tester is perfect for performing preventive maintenance and therefore avoiding costly breakdowns on battery-powered devices. It is suitable for use on nickel/cadmium, lithium-ion and nickel/metal hybrid batteries and provides a simple PASS / WARNING / FAULT indication of battery condition. Results are obtained by measuring internal resistance up to 40Ω and open circuit voltage up to 40V and then comparing the readings with the theoretical results stored in the instrument. Accuracy is safeguarded by its four-wire measurement method and a zero function that compensates the voltage circuit.
Readings and a status indication are displayed on the Chauvin Arnoux CA6630's backlit digital display and up to 999 readings can be stored in the tester's internal memory and then recalled at the user's discretion. Data transfer software and a connection cable are supplied as standard to allow easy downloading of results to the user's PC. In data logging mode, readings can be automatically collected at an adjustable rate and operation is carried out via a simple push-button interface.
The Chauvin Arnoux CA6630 is powered by six 1.5V batteries allowing a continuous operating time of 7 hours. Test leads and a rigid carrying case are supplied as standard and the tester comes with a 12 month manufacturer's warranty.
